This is an antique dinner service set. An English, ceramic tureen on tray with pot and jug by Mason, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920. Comprehensive five piece set with wonderful colour and detail Attractive and striking, this Mason's Chartreuse dinner service is a treat for the table Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout Crisp ceramic decorated with the distinctive green and gold foliate pattern Superb tureen ideal for pumpkin soup, replete with tactile ladle Loop handle to the domed lid, suspended within wide flared rim Fascinating carry handles to either end, bold in form and fully decorated The tureen stands upon a companion serving tray Continuing with a delightful small pot with tapering lid and globular body Small pouring jug with a serpentine handle and neat spout Mason's Chartreuse maker's stamps adorn the reverse of each piece This is a wonderfully presented antique dinner service set, each of the five pieces dashing in the Mason's Chartreuse patter.
