Elaborately handcrafted around 1900, this one of a kind Vienna secession tray is an absolute extraordinary item. A heavy serving tray which has been artfully made of fine solid copper showing a stunning hammered surface, adorned by fantastic designed gilt brass handles. This rare masterpiece of early20th century forging art is the epitome of Art Nouveau form language. The noble designed attached brass applications on the corners are unparalleled. An absolute breathtaking union of elegant shape combined with those delightful precious metals. Definitely one of the most beautiful Art Nouveau trays we have in a long time.
