About the Item
An unique, very special 18th century chinese famille rose India Company ormolu bronze mounted terrine porcelain.
Chinese porcelain from the Portuguese India Company during the Qianlong reign, from 1736 to 1795.
The piece is raised by two beautiful scrolled supports with lovely pierced reeded foliate designs at the center and elegantly curved movements leading up each side to exquisite richly chased leaves and flower buds in a superb satin and burnished finish.
