A French Provincial green glazed pottery Hors d'Œuvres dish from the mid 19th century, with scalloped edges and orange accents. Created in Provence during the reign of Emperor Napoléon III, this hors d'œuvres (appetizers) platter charms us with its nicely scalloped edges accented with a warm orange glaze complimenting the green tones beautifully. Marked "Poterie Provençale Salernes - Var" on the underside, this Southern French 1850s green glazed dish will bring a touch of simple authenticity to any kitchen or dining room.
