Tea and Coffee Set by Alfred Lanternier Limoges Porcelain Circa 1920 27 Pieces It is the Indian Ferns model, Fougères Indiennes in French, dating between 1919 and 1929 which we can tell from A. Lanternier & Co Limoges with the red star marks on all pieces. The set comprises twenty seven pieces composed of eight coffee cups and saucers, four large coffee or tea cups and saucers, tea pot, milk jug and sugar pot. Shiny and transparent white porcelain with outstanding workmanship on the forms of all pieces of the set. The relief of the whole surface of the thin plates is remarkable. This server ware is a real gem of the luxury porcelain that Alfred Lanternier was renown for worldwide in high society and royal courts. A. Lanternier won a Gold Medal in 1925 at the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, and this set was produced during that era. François Frédéric Lanternier...
