The hammered decor and profiled edge enhance its unique charm. This exquisite tray, designed by Lars Holmström, was meticulously handcrafted in solid brass in Arvika, Sweden, during the 1940s. Created in his own workshop, Firma Lars Holmström.

ABOUT LARS HOLMSTRÖM
Lars Holmström, a renowned metalworker from Arvika, achieved significant recognition after showcasing his works at the 1925 Paris exhibition. Awarded numerous medals and praised by French critics, his contributions extended to large chandeliers and sacred pieces for churches, as well as public buildings in Sweden and France. The Arvika workshop, under his guidance, also produced smaller, meticulously crafted items available to the discerning public—a testament to Holmström's commitment to superior craftsmanship.

Lars August Holmström was born in 1894 in Gävleborg County and died in Båstad. He was a Swedish mid-century art smith. Holmström participated in the Paris Exhibition and hit here with candlesticks and chandeliers and also with silver work. He is mentioned in French art magazines, where his work is referred to as a masterpiece of art.
