About the Item

An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique George IV English sterling silver old English pattern salad servers; an addition to our silver flatware collection. These exceptional antique sterling silver salad servers have been crafted in the old English pattern. The spoon has a plain rounded bowl and the fork has six tines. The anterior surface of each George IV piece is embellished with the contemporary engraved initials 'HL'. The reverse surface of the serving fork and spoon incorporates a pip to the terminal, in addition to a rounded heel to the bowl or drop. Condition These antique salad servers are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Full British hallmarks struck to the reverse of each piece are very clear; the hallmarks are deeply struck due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
