Pair of German Shaped Dessert Dishes Each Modelled with a Bird Amidst Flowers

About the Item

These are porcelain and were made late in the 19th century, probably by Sitzendorf. The edges are scalloped and gilt, the body is applied with rambling roses. The bird is perhaps a thrush.
