We are pleased to offer for sale an elegant and whimsical gold-toned Dessert Cutlery Set crafted in solid brass with a faux bamboo motif, dating from the 1960s to 1970s. This stunning vintage set was discovered by us in a villa along the Lazio coast, in the seaside town of Anzio, just outside of Rome.
The design playfully nods to the Chinese Chippendale style, reinterpreting the classic bamboo motif—so iconic in Eastern decorative arts—through the use of luxurious solid brass, a semi-precious material that adds both weight and character.
This extensive 12-person flatware service includes 36 pieces, thoughtfully divided as follows:
12 dessert or fruit forks
12 fruit or dessert knives
12 dessert spoons
Perfect for setting a sophisticated breakfast table or creating a more playful, eclectic dining experience by mixing patterns, table linens, and glassware. This set strikes a balance between elegance and fun, making it a standout choice for both formal and informal entertaining.
