About the Item

Yellow kettle, Michael Lax, Copco in enamel and teak. Yellow Copco kettle, designed by Michael Lax, model no. 117 and made in Spain. It's made of metal with bright yellow enamel on the outside and a dark interior, and the handle and lid knob are made of teak wood. The design is simple and practical, with a wide cylindrical body with a small spout, a circular lid and an arched handle. It has a retro style, popular in the 70s. The base is labelled with the brand name, designer and country of manufacture. It can be used as a functional kettle or just as a decorative kitchen object. It shows signs of use but retains its shine and vivid colour. A good example of industrial design with domestic use.
