Academy Silver on Copper Mid Century Bulbous Silver Plate Water Pitcher

About the Item

This pitcher is exceptional in it's simplicity, the smooth surface along with the simple line of the handle and spout are pleasing and understated and it would be perfect to serve water or other drinks or to use as a decorative accessory with flowers or other arrangements. The issue is that it looks like a fluid was left in the pitcher and has made the silver partially wear off up to a perfectly level mark on the inside. I don't know if this will affect the taste of what is served after all, copper is used to serve food and the line is not visible on the outside. There are scratches on the outside but I have not polished it. The pitcher is 7 inches tall and the base is about 4 1/4 inches in diameter, the center is a little wider.
