Circa 1968 "Louis XVI" pattern silverplated flatware set by Mappin & Webb. Presented with the original oak, labeled chest. One of the most elegant & refined designs, now sadly discontinued. 93 pieces. 12 each of dinner knives (9 3/8"), luncheon knives (8 1/8"), dinner forks (8"), luncheon forks (7.25"), gumbo/round soup spoons (7"), dessert spoons (7.25"), small tea or 5 o'clock spoons (4 5/8"). Also included are 6 table/serving spoons (8 1/8") & 3-piece roast carving set (13"). Small veneer chip on case. Case: 20 7/8" x 14 7/8" x 4 7/8".
