Coaster Silver Plated Champagne Magnum Jeroboam Wine Bottle, circa 1880

About the Item

Silver Plated Jeroboam Champagne Magnum wine bottle coaster, circa 1880. The body is embellished with pierced scrolling and interlacing decoration. gadrooned wavy rim and enclosing is fitted with a turned mahogany base. Monogramed engraved "Cathedral Hotel St. Paul's " Makers stamp marks can not be 100% identified but looks like a crown, a 7 and a pictorial image. Stands on three ornate bracket feet. Can accommodate a larger bottle, up to 6" diameter (approximately). In good condition with light surface wear commensurate with age.
