A beautiful French silverplate cake server beautifully chaste and it has a bone handle. French marks on the back but hard to distinguish. Circa 1890s. The bone handle has a slight hairline but typical.

The tea server cast in silver plate and shaped as a squat form jug with a viewing window to the front below the word Tea in capital letters. The jug opens from the top by sliding the lid across the handle allowing the user to fill the jug full of loose leaf tea. The tea then fills through to the bottom of the jug where another viewing window can be seen.
