Large Antique Primrose Plate Silver Plated Serving Tray with Floral Decoration
About the Item
This large antique silver plated serving tray was made by the well known Primrose Plate company of Canada and dates to approximately 1920 and done in a Victorian style. The tray is ornately decorated along the sides with stylized shell and leaves which is accented on the handles. The surface of the tray is ornately engraved with stylized flowers and foliage with considerable accenting scroll work and cross hatching. The tray is clearly signed on the bottom with the maker's signature "Primrose Plate".
