About the Item
Beautiful pair of Sheffield silver plated salad spoons (marked) with gold fill bowl (see images) mounted in the original silk lined interior case. Bowl of the spoon is decorated in fruit, nut, and floral raised relief repousse pattern and gold surface; with "King’s Pattern" end piece and marked “Sheffield England” on the stem (see image). Both in near mint and all original condition with no restoration; no bent or flaws of any kind; exhibiting lovely authentic undisturbed mellow patina surface. Both spoons are housed in the original silk like lined presentation case as would have been sold by a major upscale luxury goods retailer representing the British Sheffield Silver Plate Company in England. The case has about a one inch loss to the front surface which has been colored back in black to match the rest of the surface. Both clasps work well and close the case as it should. Wonderful holiday gift item.
Dimensions: spoons are matching and 8 3/4" long
The case is 9 7/8" long x 4 1/2" deep x 1 1/2" high
