1816 set of 4 Irish sterling silver serving spoons, Dublin, by James Scott. A splendid Georgian period set with the mark IS for James Scott and TWY+ for the retailer Edward Twycross. Crest of a dexter hand holding up a royal crown (Fairbairn, plate 97, crest 12). Fiddleback with bold rattail construction (2.5" long). Minor dent in one bowl edge. 9.95 troy oz. 9" x 1.75" x 1.5".
