About the Item

An Art Deco period sterling silver Plunger pickle fork, showing the mark for Paye & Baker Manufacturing Co., North Attleboro, Massachusetts, operating from 1901 – 1920. The mechanical pickle fork has four tines, the outer two are barbed. The plunger is depressed from the end using a thumb, pushing the pickles from the fork with a moveable tine sweep. There is a finger rest on the shaft for leverage. Measures: 6 in. L x 1.0 in. W x .25 in. H Weight: .02 ozt Marked Sterling, with the makers mark. Excellent antique condition with patina.
