About the Item
This stunning antique silver cigarette case, crafted in the elegant Art Deco style, dates from the 1920s-1930s. Made of solid 835s fine silver, it features intricate Art Deco detailing and a partially faded 24k gold gilt interior.
Stamped with "835s" and the renowned Hugo Grün hallmark "H. Gr.," this piece was created by the esteemed Danish silversmith Hugo Grün (1885-1935), who established his workshop in 1918. A remarkable example of craftsmanship from a celebrated period.
Dimensions: Width 8 cm, Height 8.5 cm, Weight: 74g.
In good antique condition, with typical age-related wear and traces of use. A beautiful piece of craftsmanship with a rich heritage.
