An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George VI English sterling silver and agate handled presentation trowel in the Art Deco style, boxed; an addition to our diverse presentation silverware collection This exceptional antique George VI agate and sterling silver trowel has a triangle, angular shaped blade in the Art Deco style. The anterior face of the blade features an extended protruding angular border embellished with bands of tooled decoration. The ornamentation to the blade incorporates the contemporary engraved presentation inscription: 'Presented to The Right Honorable The Lord Mayor of Newcastle upon Tyne, Alderman Gilbert Oliver, J.P. upon Laying the Foundation Stone for the New Artillery Barracks, 7th July 1938'. An exceptional, fine and impressive, unusual antique George V English sterling silver Art Deco presentation trophy in the form of dartboard; part of our silverware collection. This exceptional and unusual antique sterling silver trophy has been crafted in the form of a Yorkshire or Kent doubles dartboard*. The face of the dartboard clearly depicts the appropriately numbered segments and the wirework spider. This fine George V trophy is supported by an ebonised wood mount and an Art Deco style angular ebonised wooden base. The base displays six hallmarked vacant presentation plaques; each plaque may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired. The posterior surface of the wooden mount is plain. * This variation of dart board does not incorporate a triple ring, only the double and bullseye. The shaped blade is embellished with impressive, finely pierced and engraved scrolling branch ornamentation segmented with simplified leaf festoon style borders. The centre of the blade is further ornamented with a heron perched on a branch, with a fish in its upturned beak. The cast and applied handle is embellished with impressive heart shaped bolster, encompassed with gadroon ornamentation. An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of vintage English cast sterling silver military related presentation table ornaments; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection These exceptional vintage cast sterling silver commemorative presentation table ornaments have a figural form to a circular base. The body of each trophy has been realistically modelled in the form of a medical soldier carrying an injured fellow on his back. The male figures are ornamented with details reproducing the military attire and anatomical features. Each ornament is further embellished with a terrain texture in junction with the plinth base. The silver trophies are fitted to cylindrical painted, ebonised wood bases ornamented with hallmarked plaques. The plaque to one trophy is blank and the other bears the contemporary engraved inscription 'Officers Mess, British Military Hospital, Berlin, 1990'.
