An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Dutch silver bachelor teapot; an addition to our silver teaware collection. This exceptional, fine and impressive antique Dutch sterling silver bachelor teapot has a circular rounded form onto a circular collet foot. The surface of this antique bachelor teapot is embellished with impressive chased scrolling foliate and floral motifs, all on a matte background. The lower portion of the body is encircled with an impressive fluted border, and the upper rim bears a plain scalloped border. This antique teapot is fitted with a push fit subtly domed cover, ornamented with further chased foliate and scalloped decoration and surmounted with the original carved wood and silver finial. This exceptional teapot retains the original carved wood C shaped handle accented with a plain scrolling thumbpiece. This antique teapot is fitted with an impressive swan necked spout ornamented with further chased foliate decoration, reflecting that of the body and cover. Condition This antique bachelor teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition. The chased decoration is sharp. The hallmarks struck to the underside of the teapot are all very clear.     An exceptional, fine and impressive, large antique American silver teapot; an addition to our silver teaware collection. This exceptional antique American silver teapot has a plain panelled octagonal form with swept shoulders. The upper and lower rims of the body of the teapot is encompassed with a bright cut engraved alternating stylised leaf and chevron decorated border. Either side of the teapot is embellished with a shaped oval cartouche, each encompassed with an applied, graduating stylised floral bud border accented with a ribbon bow to the upper portion. One cartouche displays the contemporary bright cut engraved initial ‘K’ and the other remains vacant. The body of the teapot is further ornamented with single paralleling pin struck borders to each panel. The swept, panelled shoulders are embellished with a moulded reed decorated border to the rim. This American silver teapot retains the original hinged domed panelled cover surmounted with the original and impressive silver acorn style finial.     An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George III English sterling silver bachelor teapot; an addition to our Georgian silver teaware collection This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver teapot has an inverted pear shaped form onto a circular spreading foot. The surface of the bachelor teapot is plain and unembellished. The upper rim of the body is ornamented with a band of cast and applied gadroon decoration all in a swirl design. This antique silver teapot is fitted with a hallmarked, domed flush hinged cover surmounted with an impressive and original, cast sterling silver flame style finial; the flush hinge indicates the high quality of the piece. This exceptional example of antique teaware retains the original C scroll carved painted wood handle featuring a plain scrolling thumbpiece and a cast silver leaf decorated design to the upper socket, This impressive example of antique silverware has a cast silver swan necked spout embellished with fluted decoration and applied leaf motif to the lip. The ornamentation to the underside of the spout incorporates a vacant oval cartouche below a shell motif. The cast circular spreading foot is encircled with further gadroon decoration to the rim. Note: This maker may have been recorded in the missing 1739-1758 Smallworkers' Register or the 1758-1773 Largeworkers' Register, determining this maker's mark to be classed as 'unidentified' in all documents.
