These antique condiment shakers are embellished with embossed and chased decoration reproducing the details of the pigs' skin and anatomical features. Each piece retains the original, hallmarked screw fit cover/stopper to the underside of the animal's torso. The head of each pig is embellished with corresponding pierced 'salt and pepper' holes. These fine examples of antique silverware are fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior and secures with a push fit catch. An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique Edwardian English sterling silver pepper grinders - boxed; an addition to our collectable silver collection. These exceptional antique sterling silver pepper grinders have a circular baluster shaped form. The surface of each pepper is plain and the lower portion is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting out of a ducal coronet a horse's head*. These impressive silver peppers retain the original hallmarked circular rounded covers, each surmounted by the functional sterling silver finial; this allows access to permit the grinder to be filled. The underside of each grinder retains the original serrated grille and horizontal securing bar. These exceptional Edwardian peppers are fitted to the original presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior and securing with a push fit catch; this box is a fine feature of the pair of peppers. The interior of the box bears the retailer's mark 'Gowland Bros, 48 Cornhill'. An exceptional, fine and impressive, pair of vintage English cast sterling silver and enamel salt and pepper set, in the form of a soft boiled egg in an egg holder - boxed; an addition to our silver cruets or condiments collection. These exceptional vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver condiment set consists of a salt Shaker, a pepper Shaker and two spoons. The pieces of this silver and enamel salt and pepper set have been realistically modelled in the form of soft boiled eggs in egg cups. Each condiment Shaker is ornamented with an enamel eggshell design with the top portion 'cracked' away to reveal the pierced salt and pepper holes; the upper portion of the pepper retains the original gilding. The enamel and silver egg covers detach from a bayonet style fitment to a brown enamel decorated egg cup; once the cover is removed it can be determined the pieces were commissioned to be used as functional egg cups. The spoons have circular rounded bowls to plain waisted stems and terminate with cast finials encircled with scalloped borders and circular motifs, accented with initial 'M' to one and 'N' to the other. These vintage silver and enamel salt and pepper set are fitted to the original hinged crimson leatherette presentation box, with a velvet and satin lined interior and secures with two hinged catches. This fine antique Victorian sterling silver novelty pepper has a plain ovoid shaped form. The body of the pepper is embellished with impressive chased decoration depicting a cracked egg shell with a boy’s face and hands to the anterior surface and his feet and buttocks to the reverse. The body has pierced 'pepper' holes in a hexagram formation to the upper portion.
