This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver tray has an oval form, in the early 20th century gallery tray style. The surface of this antique silver tray is embellished with an impressive conch shell design within a matte oval border. The plain gallery border of this antique silver tray is ornamented with undulating decoration to the rim. This antique trinket tray is fitted with a fine pair of sterling silver baluster handles. By virtue of size this tray could be utilised for a multitude of functions; such examples in this size are rare to the market. This antique silver trinket tray combines elegance and practicality, making it an ideal gift for a variety of occasions. A fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver sugar caster, an addition to our silver teaware collection. This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver sugar caster has a baluster form onto a circular domed spreading foot. The upper and lower portions of this piece are embellished with embossed and chased bead and scroll decoration accenting concave bordered, fluted decoration all in a spiral design. The sugar caster retains the original hallmarked screw fit cover, embellished with pierced decoration incorporating chased and embossed bead and scroll decoration, the screw fit attachment indicates the fine quality of this piece. The cover is further ornamented with a gadroon decorated border to the rim and is surmounted by a fine and impressive scroll decorated shaped baluster style finial.
