Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame. Made by Cornelius Saunders & Frank Shepherd in Birmingham in 1904. Shaped rectangular window in shaped surround with bracket feet. Chased ornament: Entwined tendrils and flower heads spilling over molded border and scallop shells surrounded by dynamic scrolls. Mounted to stained wood with hinged easel support. With beveled glass and silk lining. For portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked at bottom.
