An impressive Antique George III Solid Silver Oval Meat Platter. This Venison Platter has a classic gadroon pattern border and a sunken well for juices. The platter has a pair of crests engraved on the border and stands on ball feet. Made in London, England in 1809 by Burwash & Sibley. Approx. Weight - 4218g / 135.63oz Approx. Length - 57.3cm Approx. Width - 42.9cm This Georgian Meat Platter has a Full English Hallmark. The Silver Meat Platter is in excellent condition with no damage and a lovely patina including light surface knife marks commensurate with age and use. STOCK CODE - GEO01 DIN01
