Antique George V Art Deco English Sterling Silver Condiment Set

A magnificent, comprehensive and Art Deco antique George V English sterling silver twelve piece condiment set - boxed; an addition to our dining silverware collection. This exceptional antique George V twelve piece silver condiment set consists of three salts, three pepper pots, two mustard pots, two sauce ladles and two sauce pales. The impressive Art Deco salts, mustard pots and sauce pales have circular rounded forms and the accompanying pepper pots each have a plain baluster form. The surface of each piece is plain and unembellished. The antique silver salts have gilded interiors. The impressive salts and large sauce pales are all fitted with two scrolling handles; the silver mustard pots each feature one elongated scrolling handle and a hinged plain cover. The silver pepper pots are fitted with push fit covers with pierced 'pepper' holes in multiple diagonal line formations. The covers to each of the pepper pots and mustard pot are surmounted with a sterling silver cylindrical finial embellished with a silver ball. This antique boxed condiment set in sterling silver is presented with associated onslow pattern sterling silver ladles and teaspoons. This fine and impressive condiment set is fitted to the original hinged oak presentation box with satin and velvet lined interior; the box secures with a push fit catch. Such comprehensive and large Art Deco condiment sets are becoming increasingly difficult to locate. Condition The pieces of this antique boxed condiment set in sterling silver are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Each piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. The full hallmarks struck to the surface of each piece are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
