An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver four finger cigar / cheroot case; an addition to the ornamental silverware collection
This exceptional antique sterling silver cigar case has a rounded rectangular shaped form.
The lobed surface of this antique silver case is embellished with impressive bright cut engraved scrolling leaf decoration.
The ornamentation to the anterior surface incorporates a scroll bordered vacant cartouche.
This exceptional cigar/cheroot case secures with a hallmarked push fit catch, allowing access to the four-channelled interior.
The interior of the case retains the original gilding.
This exceptional case is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire.

This antique cigar holder is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The bright cut engraved decoration is all very crisp.
Full British hallmarks struck to the interior of the box and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear.

This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver cheroot case has an octagonal prism form.
The surface of this vintage silver box is ornamented with impressive panels of engine turned decoration.
Either end of the box is plain and unembellished.
This vintage case retains the original sprung hinged hallmarked cover, with opens to reveal two gilded compartments.
The interior of the cover retains the original gilding.
By virtue of its size this versatile box could be used for a multitude of functions, including holding pencils/pens.
Condition
This vintage silver cheroot case is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The engine turned decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the interior of the box and part hallmark to the interior of the cover are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
