An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver pepper modelled in the form of a dog; an addition to our novelty silverware collection
This exceptional and rare antique George V cast sterling silver pepperette has been realistically modelled in the form of a terrier dog.
This impressive antique novelty pepper has been embellished with details reproducing the fine definition of the dog's anatomical features and fur.
This exceptional example of silver cruets and condiments retains the original hallmarked push fit cover/head which features pierced 'pepper' holes.
Condition
This antique rare sterling silver dog pepperette is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The cast decoration is all very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the interior of the hind leg and sleeve of the cover/head are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this antique rare sterling silver dog pepperette.
