A magnificent, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver straight Albert pattern flatware service for twelve persons made by William Eaton; an addition to our canteen of cutlery collection The pieces of this exceptional, antique Victorian sterling silver straight* flatware service for 12 persons have been crafted in the Albert pattern. The anterior and posterior surfaces of each rococo inspired, King's shape handle are embellished with scrolling leaf ornamentation. The decoration to the anterior of each handle terminal incorporates a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting out of a mural crown a spear in pale and two palm branches in saltire**. The heel and shoulders of each piece are embellished with further scrolling decoration. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver and mother of pearl handled fruit/dessert service for six persons - boxed; an addition to our silver flatware collection. This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver and mother of pearl fruit/dessert service for six persons consists of six fruit knives and six fruit forks. The impressive sabre style knife blades have a broad incurved shaped form, and the forks have three tines with a rounded, baluster shaped shaft. The anterior surface of each knife blade is embellished with exceptional bright cut engraved scrolling leaf and foliate decoration, accented with a plain paralleling border to one side; the posterior surface is plain and unembellished. Each piece of this fruit cutlery set is fitted with the original and impressive pistol grip mother of pearl handles. The handles are each ornamented with paralleling borders to the shaped rims.
