About the Item

A rare Antique Victorian Silver & Etched Glass Claret Jug with a Sterling Silver neck, handle and hinged lid. The Etched glass body features a detailed Fox Hunting scene showing a Horse and Rider in a country setting. The Silver Neck& Lid featured delicate bright cut engraved details and has a small crest engraved on the lid. Made in London, England in 1887 by Ephraim Tysall. Approx. Height - 26cm Approx. Width incl Handle - 16cm Approx. Diameter - 11cm This Wine Jug has a Full English Hallmark on the Neck and is part marked inside the lid and on the silver band around the foot.
