Unusual, Art Nouveau sterling silver, lightly gilt platter in the form of a bird's wing, Whiting Mfg. Company, Providence, Rhode Island, circa 1900. Platter has a low pedestal base. Excellent detail. Measures 10 1/4 inches wide x 5 inches deep (at deepest point) x 2 inches high. Weighs 7.745 troy ounces. Dark spots in photos are reflections. Excellent condition.
