About the Item
Beautiful large sterling silver centerpiece created by the famous Italian silversmith Federico Buccellati.
This circular centerpiece is quite unusual, composed of a sterling wicker style basket, removable from a large wreath of oak leaves finely chiseled with acorns. This centerpiece can be used as a cup or as a centerpiece decoration. Buccellati is still using techniques inherited from the Renaissance, so each piece is a work of art.
The below of both the basket and the wreath are stamped with Federico Buccellati silver pieces hallmarks "Federico Buccellati" / "925", "*1169 MI".

Federico Buccellati is a famous Italian goldsmith, son of the Buccellati company's founder Mario Buccellati (1891-1965), and brother of Gianmaria. The company was created in 1919, in Italy. The company is known for its remarkable know-how and its fine jewelry, watch, and silverware, and still exists today under the name of Buccellati.
