Stamped with the French Minerve mark for sterling silver. Total Weight of the set: 150 g.     A Danish gilt sterling silver and enamel Christmas fork and spoon set from Anton Michelsen of Copenhagen, Denmark. Poul Hanmann (1915-1981) created this "Winter Rose" design exclusively for the holiday season of 1977. The solid silver set is gold plated and decorated with colorful enamel work in red, blue, green, and white. The pieces come from the collection and estate of the late American actress and singer, Rose Marie. Very good vintage condition with spots of tarnish and light wear to the gilt surfaces.
