Danish silver serving spoon by Grann & Laglye, 1918 A silver Danish serving spoon by Grann & Laglye, dated 1918. The spoon has a scalloped bowl with decorative balls on the rim, then the handle decorated with two balls and a flat end with the rim also decorated with balls. The spoon has an openwork flat end and centrally decorated with five large balls. The spoon has the Danish silver hall marks, The 3-tower mark for Denmark and number 18 (for the Year 1918). The Assayer's mark for Christian F. Heisse (1904-1932) The Thor's hammer mark. This mark is for, that it is made in Denmark. The master mark for Grann & Laglye (1906-1955) The spoon is 20,3 cm long, the bowl is 5,5 cm wide and flat laying it is 3 cm high. The weight is 66 grams Grann & Laglye was founded by two silversmiths, Jalhannes Lauritz Grann and Johannes Laglye in Copenhagen since 1906-1955.
