About the Item
An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver creamer and sugar set, an addition to our Edwardian silver teaware collection.
This exceptional antique Edwardian English sterling silver cream jug and sugar set have a plain rounded boat shaped form.
The body of each piece is plain and unembellished.
The upper and lower rim of each impressive example of antique teaware is embellished with an applied gadroon decorated border.
The silver sugar bowl and cream jug are fitted with impressive scrolling loop handles embellished with stylized leaf decorated thumbpieces.
Each piece is supported by four paw feet with impressive leaf decorated sockets in junction with the body.
Condition
Both pieces of this antique silver cream and sugar set are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each piece are clear, in keeping with age and location.
