In French second standard silver.
By Louis Mathey, the renowned French Art Deco silversmith.
In the form of a flat cut bar terminating in 2 seated monkeys each smoking a pipe.
The piece rests on the base of the pipe and leans to one side or the other (resting the monkeys' feet on one side or the other).
Simply a wonderful piece of French Deco silver!

It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition, with some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age
Condition Details:
The piece rests on the base of the pipe and leans to one side or the other (resting the monkeys' feet on one side or the other). There are also noticeable scratches throughout. Otherwise, there are some light edge wear, some light dings and indentations here and there, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.
