George Angell Antique Sterling Silver Nurses Belt Buckle with Cherubs

About the Item

This antique belt buckle was made by the well known George Angell and Company of England in approximately 1880 and done in the period Victorian style. The buckle is composed of sterling silver and either side is oval shaped with a rope border and depict cherubs in differing vignettes. The buckle is clearly hallmarked for sterling with the maker's mark for George Angell.
