An exceptional, fine and impressive, unusual antique Victorian English sterling silver coffee pot made by John Hunt & Robert Roskell; part of our silver teaware collection This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver coffee pot has a baluster shaped form onto a circular spreading foot. The surface of this fine antique coffee pot is embellished with bands of chased decorated circular diaper work, incorporating a circular vacant cartouche to one side. The body is further ornamented with two bands of applied bead decoration. This fine and unusual coffee pot is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover embellished with chased decorated circular motifs identical to that of the body. The cover retains the original sterling silver urn shaped hallmarked finial encircled with a band of bead decoration; the finial secures to the interior of the cover with the original screw fitment. This Victorian silver coffee pot is fitted with a plain rounded handle incorporating a plain thumbpiece. This fine example of antique teaware has a swan necked spout embellished with further chased decoration to the lower portion. The circular foot is encompassed with an applied bead decoration to the rim. This piece was made by the renowned London silversmiths John Hunt & Robert Roskell and bears the retailer's mark 'Hunt & Roskell, Late Storr & Mortimer' to the underside. Condition This Victorian silver coffee pot is an excellent gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition. The interior of the coffee pot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use. The chased decoration is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the coffee pot, and part hallmarks struck to the interior of the cover, screw fitment, handle and finial are all very clear. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver mustard pot made by Edward & John Barnard; an addition to our silver cruets/condiments collection. This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot has a plain cylindrical form. The body of the mustard pot is embellished with pierced interlacing scrolling leaf designs. The upper and lower rim of this sterling mustard pot is ornamented with an applied bead decorated border. This fine mustard pot retains the original hallmarked hinged domed cover surmounted with an impressive interlacing tri-lobed thumbpiece. This antique piece is fitted with an opposing scroll handle ornamented with a plain scrolling thumbpiece. The mustard pot retains the original removable blue glass liner. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the body and part hallmarks to the interior of cover are all very clear; the maker's mark to the interior of the cover have wear in keeping with age. This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot has a plain circular form. The body of the mustard pot is encompassed with an exceptional and impressive band of bright cut engraved interlacing decoration accented with a simplified leaf motif. The decoration to the body incorporates a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting an eagle rousant, with wings addorsed and inverted, collared and chained, with an unidentified charge. The upper and lower rims of this fine example of Victorian silverware are ornamented with an impressive applied bead decorated border. This mustard pot is fitted with a domed hinged hallmarked cover encircled with an exceptional interlacing eight-pointed star motif with a central floral design. The cover is surmounted with an impressive sterling silver applied leaf thumb piece. This exceptional example of antique silverware has a plain shaped handle with a scrolling thumb piece.
