Large Antique Sterling Silver Edwardian Serving Tray with Stylized Rope Border
About the Item
This very large and substantial antique serving tray was made by the Atkins Bros. silversmiths of England and dates to approximately 1900 and done in the period Edwardian style. The tray is composed of sterling silver and weighs in excess of four kilograms. The tray is done with a stylized rope border and accenting handles. The tray is clearly hallmarked on the top "HA" for Henry Atkin, and the lion passant for English sterling silver.
