Large Viennese Austria Silver Art Nouveau Tray by Würbel & Szokally, Around 1900

Octagonal shaped silver tray in a smooth, simple design with raised, flared edge with circumferential palmette band, extension of the edge piece on the broad sides by incised handles. Hallmarks: Diana's head - Viennese official hallmark 1872 - 1922 for 800 silver Master's sign: Coat of arms with anvil and tools for WÜRBEL & CZOKALLY, Silver goods factory 1860/62 - 1922, Participation in exhibitions in the arts and crafts, collaboration with well-known Austrian artists. The platter's middle area has smooth surface / its edge is decorated with excellent ornaments: Nicest flower's blossoms (= tulips) with leaves and wreaths consisting of leaves as well as bound together with a decorative bow are visible on platter's edged areas.
