Beautiful Victorian Classical coin silver tray. Made by William Forbes for Ball, Black in New York, ca 1850. Oval well engraved with lushly engraved floral wreath (vacant) and scroll and leaf border. Flat and beaded rim applied with leaf border on lined ground. Four leaf-and-scroll supports. Fully marked including maker’s and retailer’s stamps. Weight: 33.5 troy ounces.
