A loving cup presented to the Georgia Hussars of Savannah for the winning score in the calvary tilt that followed the unveiling ceremony for the Oglethorpe monument in Savannah on November 23rd, 1910. In relief: "The Oglethorpe Monument Cup - Tilting - 11th Cavalry USA; Governors Horse Guards, Atlanta, Ga; Georgia Hussars, Savannah, Ga. Won by Georgia Hussars - Nov. 23rd, 1910." The Daniel Chester French monument bronze depicted in relief on reverse with applied cotton boll ornamentation. Gorham; marked “sterling, 4022A, 15 pints” with hallmarks 14 inches wide by 9 inches deep by 16 inches tall 108 troy ounces
