Outstanding Old French by Gorham sterling silver 6-piece tea set including a rare Kettle with pierced base on stand, complete with warmer. This set includes:
1 - Kettle on Stand: weighs 74.5 ozt., and measures 14 1/2" tall.
1 - Coffee Pot: weighs 30.8 ozt., and measures 10 3/4" tall.
1 - Tea Pot: weighs 28.3 ozt., and measures 8 1/2" tall.
1 - Sugar Bowl with lid: weighs 18.9 ozt., and measures 7" tall.
1 - Creamer: weighs 12 ozt., and it measures 6 1/4" tall.
1 - Waste Bowl: weighs 11.2 ozt ., and it measures 4 1/8" tall.
This superb tea set is not monogrammed and is in excellent condition (some minor age cracks in the "faux ivory" handles, as expected with age). The Old French design is carried throughout the pieces, in the detail around the bases, the legs of the stand, as well as where the handles meet the body of the pieces.
