Two decorative, playful Art Nouveau candleholders on a high-towered rocaille and volute base with lattice-like pierced shells, standing on four rocaille feet in a square arrangement, on top of which are raised slender, intertwined volutes, each held by a fully sculpted putto, branching out to form three bud-shaped spouts decorated with flowers and volutes, with flower-shaped eaves bowles. Crescent + crown - German imperial silver hallmark from 1888 800 - silver fineness Star Brand - Master's mark, not attributed Made around 1900 Dimensions: Height: 39,0 cm / 15.35 in Diameter: 20,0 cm / 7.87 in Total weight: 1420 Grams / 45.65 troy ounces Condition: very well-maintained condition, cleaned and polished
