About the Item
Two decorative, playful Art Nouveau candleholders on a high-towered rocaille and volute base with lattice-like pierced shells, standing on four rocaille feet in a square arrangement, on top of which are raised slender, intertwined volutes, each held by a fully sculpted putto, branching out to form three bud-shaped spouts decorated with flowers and volutes, with flower-shaped eaves bowles.
Crescent + crown - German imperial silver hallmark from 1888
800 - silver fineness
