Pair of Chinese Export Silver Candlesticks

About the Item

Pair of Chinese Export Silver Candlesticks on original wood stands, Shanghai circa 1885. The candlesticks are applied with heavily detailed chrysanthemum decoration around the body and on the base. The wood stands depict a Ruyi pattern and a beaded rim. The diameter at the widest point of the wood stand is 98mm Retailed by Hung Chong, and the maker’s mark is Sheng (声). 478g without stands 708g including stands
