About the Item
Pair of German, continental silver tazza or footed bowl by prestigious royal maker Gebrüder Friedländer, from the late 19th century, with flowing, stylized, scroll and foliate motifs in Rococo style adorning the rim and body of these elegant, curvilinear tazza. Each measures 8'' in diameter by 3 3/8'' in height and bears hallmarks as shown. Total weight is 31 troy ounces.
Gebrüder Friedländer was a Berlin-based jeweler and silversmith, founded in 1829, which served the prestigious function of House Jeweller of the Princess Luise of Prussia.
