The pair of mugs are made by Stower & Wragg Ltd, Sheffield, 1950. • Assay: - .925 Sterling Silver. • Date: - 1950. • Period: - Mid 20th century. • Maker: - Stower & Wragg Ltd. • Engraving: - Unengraved. • Measurement: - Approximately 14.5cm (height) x 13.7cm (width to include handle) x 8.8cm diameter. These exceptional antique George III Newcastle sterling silver mugs have has a panelled octagonal form. The surface of each Georgian silver mug is embellished panels of bright cut engraved stylised floral sprays, incorporating a vacant shaped cartouche to the anterior segment.
