Embrace a timeless treasure that echoes grandeur: an exquisite oval-shaped photo frame, sculpted from 925/1000 gold-plated sterling silver. Its translucent enamel adorns a sunburst guilloche, seamlessly intertwined with French Empire Louis XVI-style borders and ornaments. Measuring 12 x 17.5 cm externally, and an internal oval of 4.8 x 6.8 cm, this 421-gram marvel radiates sophistication. Crowning its splendor, a light amethyst of 15.40 carats, meticulously cut in the form of the famed “Hortensia” diamond, one of the world's most illustrious stones. Crafted by Giorgio Salimbeni in 1975, drawing inspiration from historical artifacts, and produced in various hues, this piece is the pinnacle of Salimbeni artisans' manual expertise, capable of enduring numerous high-fire enamel firings at around 800°C. More than just a frame, it is a testament to refined elegance and artisanal mastery.
