Executed in luminous gold-plated sterling silver, its surface showcases the captivating art of guilloché enamel. Skilled artisans in Florence hand-applied translucent fired enamels over a precision-engineered engraved ground, a process requiring multiple firings at approximately 800° C. To withstand this intense thermal stress, the frame was constructed from thick-gauge silver sheet with substantial reinforcements—a testament to its uncompromising, heirloom-quality build.
