S J Rose & Son Vintage 1970 English Sterling Silver Knife Rests

About the Item

A fine pair of vintage Elizabeth II English cast sterling silver knife rests; an addition to our diverse ornamental dining collection. These vintage Elizabeth II cast sterling silver knife rests are based on a Victorian design. These vintage knife rests have been realistically modelled in the form of children jumping over a country gate. The rests have been crafted with a model to either end of a horizontal rest, embellished with a naturalistic wood grain texture. Condition These sterling silver vintage knife rests are a very good gauge of silver, Fine quality and in excellent presentation condition. The decoration to each piece is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of both are all very clear. Dimensions: Height 4.5 cm / 1.8" Length toe to toe 9.5 cm / 3.7" Width of gate 3.1 cm / 1.25".
